FRIOLUZ has a current storage capacity of 80,000 m³, consisting of 12 chambers with a controlled temperature of between +5 ºC and -25 ºC, and capacities ranging from 500 to 1,600 pallets and 700 tons of bulk, suitable for both frozen and refrigerated products. We store all types of merchandise for both human and non-human consumption under the authorisation of the General Food Health Register.
Located alongside the docks, we have seven nearby mooring points for ships of between 90 and 120 metres in length.
We store palletised goods, in different formats, on fixed or mobile racks, on the ground or stacked.
We have two sorting rooms: a 1,280 m² refrigerated room attached to 9 loading docks and 6 side doors; and another 1,350 m² room with another 6 side doors for conducting sorting, labeling and strapping operations, …, in the best conditions so as not to interrupt the cold chain.

Dry Storage
For dry merchandise we have a 400 m² and a 4,500 m³ warehouse and around 580 pallets at the Port Inspection Centre (CIP), where we store products of all kinds (food, medical supplies, etc...), in compliance with all the applicable health and sanitary measures. The reception and delivery of merchandise is carried out in the 800 m² operations and control yard at a controlled temperature of between +10 ºC and +15 ºC

TYPE A CUSTOMS WAREHOUSE
This is an exempt area that enables goods from outside the EU to be stored indefinitely without any type of tax accruing. This type of warehouse is ideal for companies that import high-value merchandise with a medium or low turnover, as it allows them to defer payment.
TEMPORARY STORAGE WAREHOUSE
This warehouse enables companies to store non-dispatched merchandise awaiting the issuance of a customs destination, pursuant to the timeframes established by Law. The timeframes are as follows: 45 days for merchandise arriving by sea and 20 days for all other merchandise.
EUROPEAN UNION TRAFFIC RECIPIENT
Storage of European Union merchandise obtained in the European Union customs territory containing no merchandise imported from anywhere outside the European Union customs territory; brought in and released for free circulation; or obtained from the aforementioned merchandise.
QUARANTINE WAREHOUSE
Quarantine is understood as the procedure by which, prior to the release for free circulation (quarantined merchandise is normally goods from third countries awaiting the completion of customs documentation) of a consignment of products of animal or non-animal origin, the merchandise remains under the responsibility and supervision of the Inspection Body (IB) of the Health and Social Policy Department, without it being adulterated in any way, pending the results of laboratory tests or until the completion of the veterinary or health controls.
DETERMINATION OF FIRST SALE
The procedure conducted the first time the merchandise is brought into European Community territory, which will contain the price and information on the traceability of the merchandise in question.
It is carried out when disembarking or unloading at ports, docks or authorised sites requiring the prior administrative authorisation of the General Directorate of Fisheries, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Waters of the Government of the Canary Islands.
BAIT WAREHOUSE
Storage of packed or packaged bait intended for use in fishing operations, provided its traceability and non-importation into EU territory can be guaranteed.
REF WAREHOUSE
Storage of merchandise for an unlimited period of time without having to pay theCanary Islands Government REF (Economic Tax Regime) taxes required for the importation of goods, for as long as they are included in the warehouse system.
